Course Structure: Foundational Training of Level 1A, 1B, 1C & Bashi is needed to Enroll into Level 5 Neidan Course to Emerge the Yang Shen. The Heavenly Essence Level 5 course offers a rare, high-speed method to evolve the Primordial Spirit (元神, Yuánshén) into the Yang Shen (阳神) and guide its emergence from the body. This spiritual breakthrough is recognized in both Buddhism and Daoism as the initial step toward enlightenment and transcendence.

Spiritual Enlightenment Training Path
This table outlines the step-by-step path to Spiritual Enlightenment and the emergence of the Yang Shen through Heavenly Essence Qigong. It includes the foundational internal work and culminates in Level 5 training.
Level 1A – Body Cultivation (Mìnggōng 命功)
Module A focuses on body cultivation and includes seven dynamic practices that will quickly make you feel more vital, strong, serene, and balanced. These practices will help you connect more deeply with yourself and the universe. They are designed to be easily integrated into daily life and can even be performed while doing other activities such as working, walking, running, or even sleeping.
You will also:
- How to activate body breathing and bring in the universe’s qi into lower dantian in a standing meditation posture to increase one’s physical vitality.
- Learn a spinal exercise with Qi gathering to open the central channel (Sushumna)
- Open the crown and clear six energy points along the center of the body
- Learn to expel sick Qi at will
- Practice three dynamic exercises that build a powerful energetic foundation
Level 1B – Fast Method for the Microcosmic Orbit
The Fast Method of Heavenly Essence Qigong for the Microcosmic Orbit is an innovative and safe approach to the traditional practice of Daoist Internal Alchemy (Neidan). This original method consists of five practices that allow for rapid and effective absorption of the universe’s True Qi, its storage, and its circulation through the two main meridians of the body: the governing vessel (Du Mai) and the conception vessel (Ren Mai).

The module also includes theory, activation, and practice of three innate abilities:
- Palm perception
- Internal vision
- Aura perception (bio-field)
After completing Levels 1A, 1B, and 1C, and upon meeting specific energetic milestones such as activating the Microcosmic Orbit and opening the Pineal Gland, students are eligible to skip intermediate levels and enter the advanced enlightenment training at Level 5.
